Today the rooms 6 and 7 went to the Morris and James pottery centre. First we got on the bus and the bus driver drove us to the Morris and James pottery centre.Then we went in and waited for the people to take us around the place. First they showed us the clay fields it was a lot of clay.
Second was the big shed where the clay was stored. Next was where the pottery was made. It was cool – we got to see them make a pot and he put a rolly thing on that made patterns.
We also saw the drying room. It was warm.
And we did a lot of other things. Then it was morning tea. We had morning tea and played on the small playground. It was not very fun because it was a bit babyish.
In the playground there was this pole that had the colours that they use in their pottery.
Then we went. At school we had lunch.

It must have been good to see the different steps in the process. Their pots are so colourful.
