We visited Morris and James Pottery as part of our Art topic this term. The pottery was very colourful and creative. It was interesting seeing how the potters turn the clay into pots and plates and wall art. We decided we would quite like to be potters.

That was so much fun to see them make clay in to pottery and to see where the clay comes from.

Yep, it was a good day. Not so much when I twisted my arm. And I also don’t exactly want to be a potter when I grow up. 🙁
They had really cool pots. Morris and James was so much fun.
I loved it seeing them make clay into pots and I am going to try and go there again.It was so much fun at Morris and James. I love everything that was there.
It is interesting to see potters working. I went to visit one down in Taupo and bought some lovely pottery flowers on wires, so I can put them in a pot with a type of grass growing in it. It will look as if the flowers are growing in the grass!
