We are loving our new sustainable, un-treated timber for woodworking. Many new skills are being trialled at the work bench and the children are taking care to ensure their own – and others’ – safety.

This week we also tried making potions to help an imaginary Stegosauraus recover from a nasty sore throat. Much mixing, mess and magic happening on the deck outside Room 2! We love having Room 1 join us on our adventures.

We have also been planted herbs in our ‘recycled’ laundry sinks – and hope they grow quickly so we can use them on our home made pizza bread. In our raised garden, near the gazebo, we have planted leeks, broccoli and silverbeet.
