We made use of the zucchinis that are growing at the moment to make some muffins.
We worked in a group to follow the recipe and make the mixture before putting it in the muffin cases to cook. We used lots of our “Key Competencies” in the activity. Some of these were
- using words, symbols, numbers and specialist vocabulary
- problem solving
- communicating with others
- cooperating
- negotiating
We also had fun and we loved sampling our work at the end.
