Yesterday the Year 5 and 6’s of Tomarata School had their speech competition. The first person to present their speech was Jessica. Next there were a lot of Year 6’s to do theirs. Ryan forgot lots of his speech because he didn’t have it on cards. It was not even printed!! Caidan had a Mc Donald bag to represent his speech about sugar.
When I finished brain break, I finished 5 minutes earlier so I played on the playground. When the 5 minutes was up we had to go back to the hall to see who was in the school final which was on Friday. William, Kaea and 3 others were in the school finals. Mr Stuart also asked a question and it was, “Who stepped on Caidan’s Mc Donald bag?” Mr Stuart found out because one of the cheeseburgers was broken. Grace had accidently stepped on it while she wasn’t looking. Afterwards, Room 5 went back to the class to do some science.
