On Wednesday we learned about Matariki. We listened to different stories that explained the seven stars and how Maori and New Zealanders celebrate Matariki.
We read a story about seven sisters who made seven different kites.
After that Mrs Gore showed us how to make one of the kites from the story.
We had so much fun making them.
