It was very exciting today to find something different in our rat traps. We think it is a stoat as it has a long skinny body and is brown with a white belly. We have caught lots of mice and rats but this is our first mustelid.

Isaac and George, I was the first rat trapper. I did it for 4 weeks I think? On the second week I think we started to lose nearly all the rat traps. I knew it was a pest.
According to Liz from Forest bridge Trust it looks like it was a weasel.
