We had an awesome day at the Matakohe Museum. We learned so much about the Kauri tree, gum, gumdiggers, olden day schooling and much more. It was so much fun.
My favourite part was the gum room because there was lizards and spiders stuck in the gum. Emily
My favourite part was when I got to play on the piano. I learned that in the olden days kids had to play games and read books because they had no T.V. Daniella
I learned you could make jewelry and objects out of Kauri gum. Alicia
