School Mathathon

There was great excitement today as we held our school mathathon. It started with the juniors answering 10 maths questions and finished with the seniors. Each class competed in teams of 4 or 5 as they worked in their teams to find the answers as speedily as they could. The classes had all practised working together in their teams and finding strategies to help them work accurately. The students had asked their friends and families to sponsor them for each problem they answered correctly. Room 5 winners were the Maths Monkeys. They were first to finish their 10 questions. Congratulations everyone who competed. What a fun way to raise money for school equipment.
