Attention all parents and supporters of our Tomarata School children!
“Your children are our children”
The new SWAT Team for 2013 is off to a flying start with our plan of events for this year.
A number of these we hope to see become annual/biannual events, the prospect of which
is really exciting!
We want to incorporate as many of our school community’s ideas as possible to help
these events reach their potential for success. You can communicate with us via our
message board in the main office, leave a message with our office lady (Sue) or contact
our SWAT Team president (Ingrid McCracken 021 146 1110) with your ideas. All ideas will
be gratefully received.
Everyone is welcome at our monthly meetings where we enjoy a productive atmosphere
of laughter, brainstorming and mutual support all in the name of our children.
Our “Pre-loved Fashion Fiesta” is scheduled for later in 2013 and already the clothes,
shoes, bags, etc. are coming in. We can’t wait! If you have contacts in the hair, jewellery,
woman’s health areas, etc. please let us know. All donations of clothing, accessories,
shoes, bags, etc. (men’s, woman’s and children’s) can be dropped into the school office
from now on. Our intention is to make this event one for every woman to look forward to
and enjoy. WATCH THIS SPACE!!
We are also collecting Easter goodies for our annual Easter raffle. 2 items per family would
be great – again these can be dropped into the school office. Tickets are on sale at the
office $2 each or 3 for $5.
