This week was the Northland Cross Country Championships for runners that were eligible from our last year’s cross country. It was held at Barge Park in Whangarei which was a fantastic venue. Unfortunately it was a bit drizzly so wasn’t the nicest day but the runners made the most of it anyway.
It was a very fast track so our runners had to start fast, keep running fast and finish fast. No time for a breather. Congratulations to our competitors Toby, Anthony, Hayden, William, Lincoln, Shona and Leon. Leon and William both finished in the top ten so will receive a certificate for their achievement.
