Compost Posters by Room4

Brayden – Don’t put these in
Brendon – Green things are nitrogen
Brooklyn – Leave the compost to have a rest

Chevy – Compost needs air to breathe
Grace – Don’t put food in that rats and cats like.
Haylee – Put veges, fruit, horse manure in the compost

Holly- You can use seaweed
Jack – You can put twigs in the compost.
Jamie – Don’t put oil, milk and meat in the compost

Jasper – No plastic in the compost.
Josephine – It’s like a lasanga, it needs layers.
Kayla – Compost needs air to breathe

Kelly – Compost likes brown things
Kiwi – Brown
Loyd – The micro-organisms eat compost

Michael – Put food scraps in the compost
Mitchell – Have an equal amount of carbon and nitrogen
Nadia – Don’t put plastic, milk, oil, meat, doggy doos or diseased plants in.

Sam – Don’t put on anything that doesn’t help the compost.
Scott – You need to let air in.
Tobin – Don’t put meat in the compost.

Toby – Compost needs air
Tysarne – Fruit scraps can go in the compost bin
Zeph – Layer it out, balanced like a lasanga

    These posters look great. It will be really helpful to have this information by our compost bins. We are looking forward to the signs you are working on.

    I love how humans can use what happens in the natural world to help us manage things and meet a need like getting rid of garden waste and food scraps. Nature doesn’t understand WASTE. Everything is a resource.
    And worms…who knew they could be so interesting.
